400ml SHELL AND SHINE confectioners' glaze by Spectrum Flow
- produces a very high sheen gloss finish - larger 400ml can offers excellent value
- good quality clear edible glaze / varnish for use on sugar flowers, models and other edible items_import - can also be used for chocolate, pastry and other food
- this particular Shellac based spray is ideal for that added protection and it will seal in any airbrushed effects, allowing you to continue on without smudging your existing work

- a light spray will seal and protect your work - build up several light layers for the ultimate glossy shine
- spray from a distance of approx 20cm for an even, glossy sheen
- VERY IMPORTANT - our customers have contacted us to say there can be a problem with the spray nozzle getting blocked, especially when the can is around half full - we advise cleaning the nozzle after each use, using hot water to wash off residue and by holding the can upside down and squeezing for a moment (this forces propellant gas through the nozzle)
- PLEASE REMEMBER TO COVER WORKTOPS / FURNITURE / EQUIPMENT AS THIS GLAZE WILL STICK TO EVERYTHING AND IS NOT EASY TO CLEAN OFF!!!
- manufacturers claim it dries clear - but like PME and all edible glazes, there is a slightly golden tint

- ingredients: ethanol, Shellac E904
- the Vegetarian Society consider Shellac suitable for vegetarians but not for vegans - it sounds a bit gruesome but the female lac beetle produces a resin to cocoon her eggs. When these eggs hatch the young bugs eat the mother (which dies naturally after laying eggs) and it is the shell of the mother that is used to produce Shellac
- POSTAGE RESTRICTIONS - our website automatically 'exaggerates' the weight of this product (as 2kg) so that it is shipped by courier as Royal Mail no longer accept aerosols for post (they used to be able to send them 2nd class). We can only now deliver by courier to UK mainland addresses - this makes it expensive to deliver just one can, so we advise ordering more than one as delivery costs remain the same no matter how many more you order!

- PLEASE NOTE highly flammable - use and store responsibly - keep away from naked flames or sources of ignition and out of reach of children
- BLOCKED NOZZLE? . . . after each use, hold the can upside down and give one short spray to clear the nozzle. If unused for some time and the nozzle blocks, place the can upside down in a pot of hot water for a couple of minutes - this should dissolve any dried glaze
- does not contain nuts but produced in an environment where milk, soya, nuts and sulphites are also handled so we cannot guarantee free of any traces
